The Bedford Education Association is the professional organization of over 300 members who work in the Bedford Public Schools. The Association is the exclusive representative for the purpose of collective bargaining with respect to wages, hours, and other conditions of employment for all professional employees employed by the School Committee. The goal of the association is to provide the highest possible quality education for the young people attending the Bedford Public Schools.
The Bedford Education Association is a member-driven organization, governed by democratic principles, that accepts and supports the interdependence of professionals and unionism. The BEA promotes the use of its members' collective powers to advance their professional interests. The BEA is committed to human and civil rights, and advocates for quality public education in an environment in which lifelong learning and innovation flourish.
